Dea'Kan: The Powers of Earth
The Realm of Earth is commanded by Kernunnos, antlered Lord of the Forests,
also known as Herne the Hunter. The Element of Earth is usually learned by
those who are
most physical, and who are most comfortable with the physical world,
especially the forests, as well as their own physical bodies. By
contrast, many of those who get Dea tend to be total Magic geeks, who
would lose track of their physical body if it wasn't attached to them.
RP Tips: You appear a little slow. This is both a movement thing
(take big, lumbering steps) and a speech thing. You don't have to actually
be stupid (although that's not a problem) you just have to be
very deliberate. Don't talk much, it kills the effect. Buy STR.
You get the idea. Gerrard would have Dea'Kan if he ever came to Crinos.
Intrinsic Powers
- Awake: The Power of Earth. This is actually a fair bit
different than what you would think it is: it is basically Crinos-only conjure.
You can create any physical object that you can imagine. Whether it
works as you would expect or not is, of course, subject to Crinosian
law as per normal.
It can, however, confuse the hell
out of your enemies, especially since almost no concentration is
required to use it. It can be used as a weapon if you really want to,
for example by dropping a big rock on someone's head.
- Potent: The Power of the Moving Earth. This is where Earth
gets really fun, in case being able to turf Gerrard wasn't enough for you.
Now, as well as being able to create stuff, you can move stuff. Lots
of stuff. If it is ground (i.e. big rocks count, trees don't), and
you can see it, you can move it. End of list. Note that you can move
the earth into arbitrarily complex shapes, given it's own basic
structural integrity (which, of course, you can shore up with the
Power of Earth).
- Master: The Power of the Trees. This power allows you to
have complete control over all plants. They will do really ridiculous things
for you, like choke other people to death. Movement of plants is at Amber
strength with infinite endurance.
