Dea'Was: The Powers of Air
The Realm of Wind is ruled by Lleu, the Golden Child, Lord of the
Air. The Element of Air is usually learned by those who are most
cerebral, and thus has the fewest physical effects, although it is
still quite a dangerous power. Perhaps even more so for without the
right mindset it is apt to get out of control.
RP Tips: You're a mage to the core. You live the life of the mind.
You can actually win arguments with Dea'Sil'n, because you can bring to bear
a profundity that makes even them take pause. Buy PSY. Be thoughtful and
mellow. Try to say things that sound as wise and well thought-out as poosible.
Try to do it as quickly as possible, however, or people will mistake you
for a Dea'Kan'n. Another good move is to have lots of Air spirits
hanging around helping you out and giving you rides and stuff.
If an Air spirit gets your drink for you, the effect is the same as
telekenesis and it's a lot less effort.
Instrinsic Powers
- Awake: The Power of Wind. This gives the ability to call
up wind to anything up to gale force and above. We're talking serious wind
here. So much so that this is the primary weapon of the Dea'Was
practitioner: the wind can be so strong that you can't breathe, and
that trees slam into you, or it can even blow you away. The worst
part is that the Dea'Wasn isn't affected by said wind except in
exactly the ways they want to be: having someone raise a wind to fling
you against a building or mountain or whatever while their cloak
doesn't even move is rather frightening. With sufficient
practice, the Dea'Wasn can even use the wind to allow emself to fly.
- Potent: The Power of Clouds. This enhances the power of
wind by allowing complete control over many aspects of weather,
basically anything involving water vapour or condensation thereof.
The control is, once again, complete: total cloud cover in 5 minutes is not
unreasonable with practice. Note that if you also have Dea'Sil, this becomes
much more powerful.
- Master: The Power of Thunder. Just what it sounds like:
you can call lightning with impunity. People run away from you now, if they
didn't before. All aspects of weather, in case I forgot any, are
under your complete control.
